The Lumina is a top of the range medical system that combines Intense Pulse Light and Long pulse Nd:YAG laser technology to provide a wide variety of treatments including:-

The Lumina is equipped with detachable handpieces, for quick and easy application switching between treatments. Each handpiece is water cooled, to ensure complete user comfort, and contains a light filter optimised for specific applications.
A choice of three light guides allows for maximum ease of treatment of all areas of the body. The large guide with an area of 5cm squared is suitable for the fast treatment of legs and backs and the small guide is ideal for contoured areas around the nose and chin.
Hair Removal
Intense pulsed light systems release precisely controlled strong pulses of filtered light that are absorbed by melanin, the pigment in hair.
This heats up the hair and destroys the calls responsible for hair growth, to achieve long term hair reduction.
Photo Skin Rejivenation
Intense pulsed light systems release precisely controlled strong pulses of filtered light that stimulate the fibroblast cells within the skin that produce collagen and elastin. Th is improves the radiancy and tightenss of the skin, controlling enlarged pores, and giving a more uniform complexion.
Red Vein Removal
Intense pulsed light systems release precisely controlled strong pulses of filtered light that are absorbed by the blood vessel, heating it to a point where it is destroyed. Following treatment the vessles quickly clear and re-absorbed by the body, leaving little or no trace of the original lesion.
Pigmented Lesion Removal
Intense pulsed light systems release precisely controlled strong pulses of filtered light that are absorbed by the melanin in freckles, sun spots or liver spots. The pigmented area absorbs the light and is heated, and is removed by skin renewal. Following treatment, the pigmented area gradually flake away from the skin leaving little trace of the original mark.
